Restoring a past, charting a future

I haven't posted to this blog in a very long time. I have been busy, though.

My work is part of an extraordinary show by Dalvero Academy, opening April 28 at Mystic Seaport: The Museum of America and the Sea™. In our show, 24 artists document, respond and are transformed by the restoration of a moving monument of great historical importance: The Charles W. Morgan - the last wooden whale ship in the world.

A passion for knowledge, drawing and honesty (Dalvero means "from the truth" in Italian) connects the work of 24 artists with different passions, backgrounds and perspectives around one massive ship.

Every day until April 28th, I will post a different drawing, sketch or doodle from my time in Mystic, that I did not include in the show.
